About the Paradyż Passion collection
The Passion collection by Paradyż is inspired by calacatta — a marble type with distinctive veining. The ceramic wall tiles and floor tiles have a satin, smooth surface and graphics with intertwining brown and golden reflections. Passion is designed to give spaces a timeless, luxurious character without ostentation; it shines best in larger rooms where the details of the veins and the colour transitions of the surface can emerge.
What impression does the collection create?
Passion appears elegant and calm thanks to its satin texture, which softens the shine while highlighting the structure of the veins. The brown and golden reflections bring a warmer tone than typical white calacatta, giving the collection a deeper, material expression suitable for spaces aiming to emphasize materiality.
With its striking vein graphics, each tile becomes a decorative element — in larger areas, it creates the impression of natural marble with a dynamic yet refined character.
What type of bathroom is it suitable for?
Passion is suitable for more spacious bathrooms, where the details of the veins can be showcased without disrupting the visual impression. It fits well in both modern and more classic interiors where you want to achieve an atmosphere of sophistication and mild warmth.
In smaller bathrooms, opt for larger formats and lighter surfaces from the collection or use Passion only as an accent (for example, the wall behind the sink or shower enclosure) and combine the rest with a more neutral surface to avoid a cluttered feel.
Colour, surface and visual properties
The collection is inspired by calacatta with a satin finish that offers a subtle, muted shine. Dominant are white to cream surfaces with brown and golden veins, creating a natural and warmer impression than cold marble variants.
The striking vein graphics mean that when designing, one must account for pattern variability between pieces — during installation, we recommend anticipating natural irregularity, which is part of the collection's appearance.
How to combine the collection
For a balanced result, combine Passion with earthy tones or muted whites and creams. Wooden elements and warm metallic accents (brass, gold) will enhance the golden reflections of the veins.
To maintain a modern character, complement with smooth matte surfaces and simple geometric shapes in sanitary ware. For a more classic look, use trims and framing with subtle details and textures featuring a gentle relief.
Installation and maintenance
For collections with pronounced veining, it is important to plan the layout of the tiles before gluing to achieve a natural and aesthetic continuation of the veins. When deciding on the direction and arrangement of patterns, laying them out on the floor without permanent adhesion can help.
The satin surface is usually low maintenance; use recommended cleaning agents designed for ceramics and avoid abrasive products. For floors in wet areas, consider anti-slip measures if the specific series does not include them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the best place to position Passion tiles in the bathroom?
Passion shines on main walls, such as behind the sink or in the shower enclosure, or as flooring in more spacious bathrooms. In smaller spaces, use it as an accent.
How to combine Passion with furniture and accessories?
The collection works well with wooden elements and warm metals (brass, gold). For a modern look, choose simple shapes for sanitary ware and matte surfaces.
Is the satin surface difficult to maintain?
The satin surface is usually easy to maintain. Use standard ceramic cleaning agents and avoid abrasive pastes that could damage the surface.
