Sinks, toilets and bidets are part of the sanitary ware you use every day and which you won't replace without effort after tiling the bathroom. The type of sink determines what the cabinet will be like, where the waste will be routed and what tap will suit it. For toilets, the decision is whether it will be wall-mounted on an installation module in the false wall, or a standing combo with a tank on the bowl. A bidet can be a standalone bowl, a bidet shower next to the toilet, or a toilet with a bidet function.
Nowadays, people most often choose a ceramic sink on a cabinet or a countertop sink, wall-mounted toilet with a rimless bowl, and a duroplast seat with slow closing. In small bathrooms and separate toilets, a small or corner sink and a bidet shower instead of a bidet can be helpful. The top edge of the sink is usually 85 to 90 cm above the floor, and the wall-mounted toilet bowl is 40 to 42 cm.

What to consider when choosing
- Height of the sink: the top edge is usually installed at a height of 85 to 90 cm. For a countertop sink, lower the countertop so that the resulting height is the same.
- Umývadlo na dosku bez otvoru na batériu spravidla potrebuje vyššiu batériu alebo batériu do steny. Skontrolujte aj dĺžku výtoku, aby voda dopadala do stredu misy.
- Do samostatného WC sa hodí malé umývadielko – overte, či nebude prekážať otváraniu dverí.
- Závesné WC sa montuje na inštalačný modul skrytý v stene. Podlaha pod misou sa ľahko umýva a výšku misy si nastavíte. Modul treba osadiť pred obkladaním.
- Stojace WC a WC kombi sa hodia tam, kde sa modul osadiť nedá, napríklad pri výmene bez búrania. Rozhoduje poloha odpadu – do steny alebo do podlahy.
- Rimless misa nemá splachovací okraj, pod ktorým sa usádza nečistota, takže sa čistí rýchlejšie a hygienickejšie.

- Flush button must match the installation module – choose it according to the manufacturer and type of module.
