About the Paradyż Carrizo collection
The Paradyż Carrizo collection combines industrial cement with the warmth of wood in a series of wall tiles and floor tiles that reach the classic format of 30×60. Three colour variants — grey, basalt, and wood — along with complementary striped structures offer versatility for walls and exteriors. The textures of concrete with subtle layers and wood decor with knots add authenticity and allow for a balance between modern and natural impressions in your bathroom.
What impression does the collection create?
Carrizo combines the cooler, industrial character of concrete surfaces with the warm tones of wood. Grey appears light and airy, basalt contrasts more sharply, while wood brings a natural accent. Structures with new unevenness and striped patterns add depth and play with light.
The collection is designed so that individual graphics appear authentic — concrete surfaces with 'burns' and wooden decors with knots reduce visual uniformity and increase the aesthetic value of the surface.
What type of bathroom is it suitable for?
Carrizo is suitable for modern and industrial-style bathrooms where you want to combine minimalist lines with a natural accent. Grey is ideal for smaller spaces as it visually enlarges, basalt works well as a contrasting element, and wood adds warmth to the space.
Thanks to the ability to combine surfaces and colours, you can create, for example, a dominant wall surface in a concrete decor and complement it with floor tiles or strips in a wooden tone for a warm effect.
Formats, surfaces, and colours
The collection includes the classic format of 30×60 and is complemented by narrow floor elements intended for outdoor use. The three basic colour variants are grey (cement grey), basalt (graphite), and wood (walnut wood tone). Modern structured elements resembling slats are also available.
These options provide great freedom in design — from full walls in one tone to combined compositions with decorative stripes.
How to combine the collection
For a balanced bathroom, choose one dominant surface (e.g., grey or basalt) and complement it with wooden elements in smaller areas or as a floor accent. Use stripes as decorative cladding behind the sink or in the shower enclosure to highlight the vertical direction.
If you plan to connect the interior with the exterior, Carrizo allows you to match wall tiles with plaster or cement elements of the terrace by using the same colours and textures. When combining, pay attention to a consistent range of tones and proportions to avoid a chaotic appearance.
Installation and maintenance
When laying, follow standard recommendations for 30×60 wall tiles: a flat substrate, appropriate flexible adhesive, and expansion joints according to the dimensions of the space. Rectification is not specified in the substrates, so consult with the supplier or floor layer when ordering.
Maintenance is standard for ceramic surfaces — regular cleaning with neutral agents. When using the wood variant in wet areas, pay attention to the slip resistance of the floor tiles and proper grouting to prevent dirt and moisture ingress.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Paradyż Carrizo wall tiles suitable for a shower enclosure?
Yes, variants with concrete or wood decor are usable in a shower enclosure. Check the manufacturer's recommendations for surface finish and slip resistance for wet areas when selecting.
How to combine the colours grey, basalt, and wood in a small bathroom?
For a small bathroom, choose light grey as the base and add wood as a warm accent on one wall or around the sink area. Use basalt sparingly on details to avoid overwhelming the space.
Can I use Carrizo on an exterior terrace as well?
The collection is designed to match terrace floor tiles, and the mentioned connection with the Pure Art and Trueland slabs allows for a cohesive look between the exterior and interior. Before application, check the frost resistance and suitability of the specific format for outdoor use.
