MEREO is a brand of bathroom equipment operated by MSO Trade a.s. In addition to shower enclosures and trays, it offers ceramics with furniture, faucets, shower programs, bathroom heating, and plumbing materials. This article focuses on the shower part of the offer; an overview of the entire brand can be found in the profile MEREO. On vkupelni.sk, there are 781 MEREO products in the shower enclosures and screens category.
What is included in the shower offer
On the brand's website, the shower program is divided into shower enclosures, shower doors, shower boxes, walk-in screens, and bath screens, shower trays, linear drains, shower accessories, spare parts, and replacement glass. Separate categories for spare parts and glass are practically significant: worn seals, rollers, or broken glass can be replaced without changing the entire enclosure. The brand states on its website that it has spare parts in stock for everything.
Series of shower enclosures
The current offer of MEREO shower enclosures includes the Vesi, Novea, Lima, Kora, and Kora Lite series; Mistica is among the older series. The manufacturer describes Novea and Lima as elegant lines and the Kora series as popular for its quality in the budget class. When comparing, do not only look at size and price, but also at the thickness of the glass: according to product descriptions from retailers, some MEREO enclosures and boxes have glass thicknesses of 4 to 5 mm (for example, Kora Lite 4 mm) and Mistica doors 6 mm. Novea walk-in glass has 8 mm. The exact specification is always provided in the technical sheet of the specific model.

Clear or patterned glass
In addition to clear glass, decorative glasses Point, Grape, Chinchilla, and Line are available. Clear glass visually enlarges a small bathroom, but droplets and limescale are more visible on it. Patterned glass better hides water marks and provides more privacy, but it visually reduces the space. Novea walk-in glass has an EASY CLEAN treatment, allowing water to run off more quickly. Which glass is suitable where is discussed in the article Shower glass: clear, frosted, smoked or patterned.
Tray, drain, and accessories
Choose the enclosure together with the tray or the drainage solution. If the enclosure stands on a tray, the shape must fit, including the radius and installation dimensions for a quarter-circle. For a walk-in screen on the floor tiles, the fall to the drain and waterproofing are crucial – see the article Shower drain or point drain?. Since MEREO offers trays and linear drains, the set can be assembled within one brand; still, verify compatibility according to technical drawings.
MEREO drains with a stainless steel grate 70, 80, and 90 cm cost 63, 67, and 71 € on vkupelni.sk, TILE drains with a grate for floor tiles 40 to 100 cm cost 126 to 166 €, and STRIP drains 70 to 90 cm cost 140 to 157 €. Among the accessories, there is a silicone squeegee for glass for 16 €, a universal cleaner Mereo Cleaner 500 ml for 4.60 €, and a foldable seat made of duroplastic for 99 €.
Spare parts
Spare parts vary by series and model code – for example, roller sets are intended for specific model lines. Therefore, when ordering a part, have the exact code of the enclosure from the documentation or purchase receipt at hand. For instance, on vkupelni.sk, a roller set for Kora Lite (2 pcs) costs 10.36 €, for Kora (4 pcs) 20.70 €, for enclosures CK608 (4 pcs) 37.31 €, a complete set for Lima doors 53.51 €, and a seal kit for pivot enclosures 33.11 €. How to extend the life of the enclosure can be found in the article Longevity of a shower enclosure.
