Paradyž Sextans

About the Paradyż Sextans collection

The Paradyż Sextans collection features a series of matte gres tiles in the size 40×40 cm, focusing on natural, muted shades of beige, rusty-bronze tones, and graphite. It is suitable for interiors where you want to achieve a clean, understated base for flooring or larger wall areas without gloss. Sextans is designed to complement both modern and more classic furnishings and allows for creating cohesive compositions between different spaces.

What impression does the collection create?

Sextans has a muted and natural appearance thanks to the palette of beige, brown, and grey shades. The matte surface reduces glare and visually softens the space, which is suitable where you do not want the tiles to dominate the decor. The result is a neutral, stable atmosphere that works well with more prominent elements like furniture or accessories.

With the available colour variations, you can achieve different moods: a lighter shade will visually enlarge the space, while a darker one will provide a sense of a more solid, cozier base.

What type of bathroom is it suitable for?

Sextans is particularly suitable for bathrooms with medium to large spaces, where you will appreciate the even, matte appearance of the floor. In smaller bathrooms, choose a lighter shade to avoid visually making the space feel too cramped.

In a modern bathroom, it complements minimalist furniture and metal accents. In a more classic concept, it serves as a neutral backdrop for wooden elements or ceramic fittings with warmer tones.

Formats, surfaces, and colours

The collection includes matte gres tiles in the size 40×40 cm. Four colour variations are available: light beige, grey, dark graphite, and brown/bronze tones, providing a wide range of options for coordinating flooring or walls.

The matte surface is practical for both floors and walls, as it shows fewer smudges and glare. When used outdoors (e.g., on a terrace), check with the supplier for slip resistance and frost resistance recommendations.

How to combine the collection

For a clean, minimalist look, use one shade across the entire floor area and complement it with white or light wall tiles. To create contrast, choose dark graphite with subtler wall tiles or wooden accents.

You can also work with two shades from the collection – for example, a light and a medium-dark shade in adjacent rooms or in a staggered mosaic – to achieve a transition between spaces without a sharp boundary.

Installation and maintenance

When laying 40×40 cm tiles, ensure the substrate is level and follow the correct grouting according to the size of the format. Matte tiles often better conceal minor unevenness, but the substrate must still be flat and load-bearing.

Maintenance is simple: regular sweeping and mopping with a pH-neutral cleaner will keep the surface free of dirt. With darker shades, be cautious of limescale and soap residue buildup in bathrooms; regular wiping will prevent permanent staining.
