About the Paradyž Intero collection
The Intero collection from Paradyż offers a range of large-format porcelain stoneware tiles with a clean, minimalist pattern and muted colours. It is designed for spaces where flat surfaces and other decorative elements should dominate: corridors, halls, patios, or open bathrooms with larger areas. Formats 59.8×119.8 and 29.8×119.8 offer various laying options and visual enlargement of the space.
What impression does the collection create?
Intero creates a calm, uniform base without a pronounced pattern, allowing furniture, fixtures, and textiles to stand out. Minimalist, solid surfaces appear modern and sleek, ensuring the space does not feel cluttered even with larger formats.
Thanks to its neutral colour scheme, the collection supports various styles — from contemporary modern bathrooms to minimalist elegance. It is suitable where you want the design to remain unobtrusive yet precise.
What type of bathroom is it suitable for?
Intero is best suited for more spacious bathrooms or those aiming for visual enlargement. Large formats reduce the number of joints, creating a cleaner look and facilitating visual continuity between the floor and walls.
In smaller bathrooms, opt for a sensible combination of formats and lighter shades to avoid a cramped feel. In open layouts (connecting the bathroom with the bedroom or dressing room), the same wall tiles will aid a smooth transition between zones.
Formats, surfaces, and colours
The collection includes formats of 59.8×119.8 and 29.8×119.8, which are ideal for continuous surfaces and horizontal bands. These dimensions align with the trend of large-format tiles, which visually enlarge the space and minimize the number of joints.
The surface is designed as unglazed gres with muted graphics, ensuring a natural appearance and a matte finish suitable for modern interiors. The colour palette is subtle, allowing for a uniform area without strong contrasts.
How to combine the collection
You can combine short and long formats into bands or mosaic compositions: for example, larger 59.8×119.8 for main surfaces and 29.8×119.8 as skirting or border tiles. This achieves a gentle rhythm without a disruptive pattern.
Intero pairs well with natural materials — wood, metal, and matte stone. Accessories in warmer tones (wood, copper) soften the cooler appearance of gres, while black metal elements highlight the modern character.
Installation and maintenance
When laying large-format tiles, consider the accuracy of the substrate: flatness and sufficient load-bearing capacity are crucial to avoid unevenness and the formation of adhesive cracks. The use of flexible tile adhesive suitable for large formats and adherence to the recommended joint size is advised.
Unglazed gres is durable and relatively low-maintenance, but the matte appearance highlights dirt and water stains more. Regular cleaning with a mild detergent and immediate removal of aggressive substances will prolong its attractive appearance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the formats 59.8×119.8 suitable for a bathroom with underfloor heating?
Yes, large-format porcelain stoneware tiles are often used with underfloor heating. However, it is important to ensure proper installation, suitable adhesives, and follow the heating system's recommendations from the supplier.
How to choose the grout colour for the Intero collection?
With the minimalist look of Intero, it is advisable to choose grout in a neutral colour close to the tile tone to maintain a uniform surface. Contrasting grouts add rhythm but can disrupt the clean effect.
Can I use 29,8×119,8 as wall tiles in the shower?
The format 29.8×119.8 is also suitable for walls, including shower enclosures, provided that the conditions for proper waterproofing are met and materials approved for wet environments are used.
