About the Paradyż Generous collection
The Generous collection by Paradyż offers floor tiles and wall tiles with a natural stone character in two neutrally warm shades, Beige and Taupe. The patterns are subtle, with fine and more pronounced veining reminiscent of marble or wave mosaics. The surfaces offer soft or matte finishes, and in Taupe, you will also find a pearl semi-matt that adds a sophisticated look and depth to the tiles.
What impression does the collection create?
Generous evokes natural stone with muted, warm tones that feel calming and natural. The fine and stronger veining contributes to the surface's dynamism without being distracting, resulting in a subtle yet interesting effect.
The pearl semi-matt in Taupe enhances the luxurious impression, while the matte and soft variants in Beige provide a more subdued and pleasant appearance suitable for daily use.
What type of bathroom is it suitable for?
Thanks to the neutral shades, the collection fits various styles — from modern minimalism to nature-oriented bathrooms. Beige is a safe choice for bright, airy spaces; Taupe with pearl semi-matt will highlight an elegant, slightly more formal design.
The collection works well with wooden elements in warm tones as well as raw concrete. In smaller bathrooms, I recommend a lighter shade and matte surface to prevent the space from feeling closed in.
Formats, surfaces, and colours
Two basic shades are available: Beige and Taupe. Beige is available with soft or matte surfaces that emphasize the natural look of stone.
Taupe offers a specific pearl semi-matt that gives the tile a subtle shine and depth. Information on specific formats and thicknesses is not included in the documentation, so when selecting, plan according to the room's function and intended installation method.
How to combine the collection
For a balanced result, combine Beige for larger areas and Taupe as an accent — for example, behind the sink, in the shower enclosure, or within a decorative strip. The pearl semi-matt can highlight a part of the wall or create contrast with subtle matte.
Complement the floor tiles with natural wood in warm shades, metallic elements in warm brass or matte black, and textiles in neutral colours. For a more industrial look, add concrete elements or simple ceramic accessories.
Installation and maintenance
When laying, ensure even substrates and proper alignment to highlight the natural pattern without unwanted joint seepage. When combining matte and semi-gloss elements, plan transitions so that the shine does not appear random.
Maintenance depends on the surface: matte and soft surfaces are more tolerant of fingerprints and minor scratches, while pearl semi-gloss may require more careful cleaning to maintain its shine. Generally, use gentle cleaning agents designed for ceramics and follow the regular maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Generous collection suitable for shower enclosures?
Yes, the Generous collection is suitable for shower enclosures; consider the surface when choosing — matte or soft may be safer and less slippery. Also, ensure proper solutions for creating a fall and waterproofing.
How to combine Beige and Taupe shades in a small bathroom?
In a small bathroom, use Beige for larger areas and Taupe only as an accent, for example, on one wall or around the mirror. This will create a sense of space while providing a subtle contrast.
Does the pearl semi-matt require special care?
Pearl semi-matt is more prone to streaks and requires gentler cleaning agents and regular maintenance to maintain its shine. Avoid abrasive products.
