About the Paradyž Eremite collection
The Eremite collection by Paradyż brings floor tiles and wall tiles inspired by sandy, southern streets. In a neutral palette of four shades — beige, sand, taupe, and crema — you will find a surface with subtle brushed details that mimic natural materials. The 30×60 format allows for both classic and modern wall and floor solutions, suitable for interiors and seamless transitions to the exterior in line with the earthy character of the series.
What impression does the collection create?
Eremite evokes the sandy facades of Southern Europe — warm, soft tones and uneven textures give the surface a natural, earthy appearance. The brushed details and patterns on the surface add depth and prevent monotony across large areas.
Thanks to the neutral shades, the result is calm yet distinctive; it feels comfortable and cozy in interiors, while bringing a rustic yet contemporary expression to facades and exterior walls.
What type of bathroom is it suitable for?
The colours of Eremite are versatile — they fit into bathrooms in Scandinavian, Mediterranean, and industrial styles. Warm beige and cream tones soften smaller bathrooms, while darker taupe adds depth in more spacious interiors.
For smaller bathrooms, I recommend using a lighter shade for most surfaces and a darker one as an accent wall or strip by the shower. Combined with light sanitary ware, the overall effect feels airy.
Format, surfaces, and colours
The collection is available in a 30×60 cm format. The surface has a structured finish with brushed details that mimic a natural clinker appearance.
Paradyż offers four colour variants: beige, sand, taupe, and crema. These shades complement each other well, making it easy to create transitions between walls, decorative strips, and exterior elements.
How to combine the collection
Eremite works well in combination with subtle textures — matte ceramic tiles, natural wood, or concrete elements create a harmonious contrast. For a modern look, use clean lines and minimalism in bathroom furniture.
If you want a more pronounced effect, choose a darker shade as the base and a lighter one as a strip behind the sink or the wall tiles of the shower enclosure. Exterior use allows for a continuation of the visual from the interior to the terrace or facade.
Installation and maintenance
When laying, pay attention to the flatness of the substrate and the correct width of the joints. Before applying adhesive, check the arrangement of the tiles according to the pattern and shades — some pieces may have slight colour variations.
Maintenance is simple; regular cleaning with a mild detergent and a soft cloth will keep the texture intact. For exterior use, consider a suitable sealing (impregnation) agent according to the type of surface, if recommended by the manufacturer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Eremite collection suitable for outdoor use as well?
Yes, Eremite is designed as a clinker collection suitable for outdoor use such as facades, terraces, and fencing. When laying, ensure a suitable substrate and expansion joints.
How to combine colour shades from the Eremite collection?
Use one shade as the main surface and another as an accent. Light tones will enlarge the space, while darker ones will add depth. All four colours complement each other well.
What should I watch out for when laying the format 30×60?
The flatness of the substrate, the correct adhesive, and checking the joints are important. Before sealing, check the distribution of shades to avoid unwanted colour combinations.
