Marazzi: wall and floor tiles

A brand that changed technology

Marazzi patented the single-firing process, where both the body and glaze are fired at once, and later also crystallised stoneware. Both innovations have influenced how ceramics are manufactured to this day. Since 2013, Marazzi has been part of the American conglomerate Mohawk Industries.

Grande: slabs as large as a wall

The most well-known series in recent years is Grande. This is a large-format stoneware available in slabs up to 160 × 320 cm with a thickness of 6 mm. One slab can cover a wall from floor to ceiling without horizontal joints, and it can also be made into a sink top, furniture front, or kitchen counter. Grande is available in marble, stone, concrete, resin, metal looks, and in solid colours.

When to choose Marazzi

When you want a bathroom that looks like it’s from an architectural magazine: large surfaces with minimal joints, marble patterns flowing across the entire wall, and a uniform material on the walls, floor, and furniture. For Grande slabs, expect an experienced tiler and careful substrate preparation.
