AQUATEK

AQUATEK is a brand of the Slovak company AQUATEK spol. s r.o. from Topoľčany. It focuses on shower enclosures, shower trays, freestanding baths, and shower systems; it offers dozens of series of shower enclosures that differ mainly in glass thickness and opening mechanism.

What AQUATEK offers

Shower enclosures

The widest part of the offer. Series are divided by glass thickness – 8 mm, 6 mm, and 4 mm glass or 2.2 mm Krilex plastic.

Shower trays

Trays made of cast marble and hardened polymer.

Freestanding baths

Acrylic baths and baths made from solid cast stone, along with floor-mounted bath mixers.

Shower systems

Shower panels, sets, columns, arms, heads, handheld showers, and concealed mixers.

Sanitary ceramics

AQUATEK ceramics can be found on the separate website ceramicalatina.sk.

Design and materials

The manufacturer presents its offer as "modern Italian design" – this refers to the style, not the country of production. Black profile variants are also available for shower enclosures (for example, the Oasis Black, Open Black, Happy Black, Wellness Black, or Yes Black series).

What to consider when choosing

• Glass thickness: 8 mm glass is sturdier and appears more massive, suitable especially for large solid walls and walk-in solutions; 6 mm glass is the common standard for sliding and hinged doors.
• Walk-in walls (for example, the Oasis and Open series) require a well-designed floor slope or linear drain – plan them together with waterproofing.
• For a small bathroom, consider sliding or folding doors that do not require space to open.
• Check the dimensions of the tray and enclosure against the actual dimensions of the bathroom – in renovations, every centimetre counts.
